Promethean General Contractors, LLC was awarded this task order under an IDIQ dredging contract to perform critical maintenance dredging of the Bayou Caddy Channel in Lakeshore, MS. The project aimed to restore navigable depths and improve channel efficiency while meeting environmental compliance standards.
Project Scope Highlights:
Performed maintenance dredging using an 18-inch hydraulic cutterhead dredge with supporting marine plant including a 52' x 110' spud barge, tug and push boats, dredge tender, and excavator for pipe management and disposal area maintenance.
All dredged materials were transported and placed in a designated open-water disposal site for beneficial use, promoting environmental sustainability.
Conducted full-scale site layout and survey operations, including pre-dredge and post-dredge hydrographic and topographic surveys, and delivery of as-built documentation in compliance with contract specifications.
